COE AWCI
Controller of Examination (CoE) is the custodian of the academic records and performs such other duties as may be prescribed. In particular CoE is responsible for compilation and declaration of Institute results. The CoE office ensures that any “Degree and Transcript” which goes out of the institute is genuine and being issued to the member who fulfills all the legal requirements for this purpose.
Objectives
- To establish a strong reliable and credible examination / evaluation system in the institute.
- To boost the examination system to the optimum level to get better, speedy and reliable results.
- To improve the quality of examination & evolution, and ensuring credibility of processes throughout the system.
Structure
Function Of COE
Core functions performed by the office of the Controller of Examination are:
- Shall be responsible for all the matters connected with academics and the conduct of examination.
- Arrangement for timely issuance / provision of the examination material, instructing the supervisory staff and holding their meetings as and when required.
- Maintaining over all examinations record of the members in hardcopy / softcopy for the period of time as prescribed.
- Postponement or cancellation of examination, in part or in whole, in the event of malpractices or if the circumstances so warrant after approval of President through Deputy President.
- Appointments of Unfair Mean Committee with the prior approval of Deputy President in relation to examination matters for carrying out investigation and convene meeting and issue notices thereof.
- Shall update and bring into the notice of the Dy President all cases of infringement of rules of examinations for disposal.
- Ensuring and maintaining strict secrecy of all information regarding the examinations.
- Shall prepare and display of final result notifications and sending the grade reports to members.
- Responsible for accuracy in issuance of transcripts & degrees to Under Graduate & Post Graduate members. Keep record of Members result and ensure departmental secrecy.

- Exercising such other powers and performs such other duties as may be prescribed or assigned to him, by the Deputy President.
- Be responsible for processing all affiliation requests with the institute.
- Controller of Examination is to share the method of grading and calculation of GPA/CGPA.
- Any other duties assigned by the President.
